Opportunities Abound!

The National Kickball Association not only hosts the Annual Unofficial Derby Kickball Championship but also provides kickball leagues. The Kickball Championship is a one-day, double-elimination kickball tournament occurring the Saturday before the Kentucky Derby. From our first year of 34 friends getting together at Seneca Park we have grown to 38 teams with more than 400 participants, plus many more fans who come out to watch and enjoy the fun and unique atmosphere. Not only does the tournament provide exciting competition but we also have a DJ along with beer and food vendors. In 2010 our leagues set a record with 42 teams, which we project to surpass in 2011.

Who Plays Kickball?

The demographic of kickball participants is primarily 20 & 30 year olds who are physically and socially active. Kickball competitors are active in softball, soccer and other sports leagues. You will also find our participants frequently patronizing local pubs and restaurants. We are offering the opportunity to sponsor the Kickball Championship or kickball leagues to only a select group of companies – ones we believe will benefit from this exciting event.
